OK, elephant in the room first... Yes the 'Art Inspires' is a wee bit more than a nod, it's a full blown acknowledgement that these images are partially, or completely created by Artificial Intelligence... there we said it 😁
There is a fair bit of jealousy, and more than a pinch of frustration, when a non-artist cannot get what they want to convey what is in their head on to a bit of paper or computer screen, and yet can see the natural talent of an artist draw what they see... AI changed that with text to image, although even the most ardent AI fans and users will tell you, it aint perfect!
When the technology became available and started to become mainstream a lot of people started to use the concept for personal use, and the process of being able to create your own ideas, and literally watch them come to life on a computer screen is quite addictive.
So, after creating hundreds of text prompt images, the temptation to 'sell' them becomes tempting.... until you start to look closely at the creations, and the amount of time fixing buggy lines, erroneous features..... yeah, we've all seen that!
Then came the backlash.... rightly, artists, cartoonists, content creators alike voiced concerns about the true originality of the designs, and the dilution of the marketplace as generated content swamps human created artworks, where physical hand strokes painstakingly bring their subjects to life line by line.
So here's the thing. Dij-EEZ, as a content creator have decided not to stoke an already fiery conversation, and take a different approach.
The images in the following pages are 'inspired' by AI but there have been amendments, additions, removals by use of nothing more than a mouse and a keyboard, so that they in some cases are different from the original 'generated art'
Just as a bit of fun, we have supplied each digi-stamp in JPEG and transparent PNG format.
Additionally there are two cutting files to fit the 'exact' image at normal size, (FCM, Brother native and SVG), and two 'outsized' cutting files, (with a bleed or surround, again in FCM & SVG) These cutting files should be compatible with most of the electronic cutting machine's companion software, just as a little help to lift them from the printed media.
The section of greyscale images are presented 'as is', as clearly it's not the desire to cut any part of the image out
If you fancy sharing what you create with our images, we'd be delighted to see them in either our dedicated colouring group, Colouring Friends United, or our #allcrafts group Craft Friends United.
